EcoVadis is a globally recognized assessment platform that rates businesses’ sustainability based on four key categories: environmental impact, labour and human rights standards, ethics, and procurement practices.

It accurately indicates a company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR). The EcoVadis platform allows Chematek to share our sustainability performance with our customers and trading partners, providing the rating certificate scorecard and assessment report.

The CDP is a global non-profit organisation that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system. By disclosing data through the CDP platform, we showcase our commitment to environmental transparency and action.

The Seveso Directive is a European Union directive that aims to prevent major accidents involving dangerous substances. The directive has been amended several times since its adoption, and it is now known as the Seveso III Directive.

The Responsible Care (RC) Italy Directive is a voluntary environmental and safety management system (EMS) that was developed by the Italian chemical industry association, Federchimica. The RC Directive is based on the Responsible Care global charter, which is a set of 10 principles that are designed to help companies improve their environmental, health, and safety (EHS) performance.

Internal Management

Chematek operates within a Management Organisational Model (MOG).

 

Adherence to this model and our financial governance is audited by the Collegio Sindacale, Organo di Vigilanza and External Auditing Firm.

 

Execution of the management organisation model is the responsibility of the Board of Directors (CdA Consiglio di Amministrazione). Reporting to this Board of Directors are divisional, country and functional leaders.

The OdV is responsible for monitoring compliance and ensuring ethical practices within the organisation including Chematek’s application of Italy’s 231/2001 Legislative Decree and underlying organisational model (MOG).
Consiglio di Amministrzione
The ‘Consiglio di Amministrzione’ (CdA) or 
Board of Directors in English, are responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. Reporting to the Board of Directors are the Divisional Heads for our five internal Product Divisions and Country Heads for our three Country Divisions.
